Good news!!

Short but sweet; I had some problems lately so my oncologist thought I might have had a small stroke. Got the results from my MR today. All is well, I still have a sharp head on my shoulders.

I will start my radiation on May 19 at Radiumshospitalet, another hospital.

The oncologist today said I don’t have to be back for tests until next year. And here’s the kicker: It is most probable that I will not have any recurrence. That I will not get cancer again  – ever. Not only during the next five years. Not never. Never, ever again.
The gratitude, love and joy can not be explained in words ❤️

  1. Det var godt å høre Gitte ❤ ❤ ❤ Håper du har hatt din dose av bivirkninger og at strålingen går greit på Radiumhospitalet. Lykke til 🙂

    1. Yes of course! If I can bring hope to another patient that would be awesome. Or if you are healthy as a horse but have forgotten to express gratitude, love and pure joy, maybe these pictures can inspire you ❤️ Thank you 😘

  2. When I saw your photo’s for just a split second I thought I was looking at my beautiful sister. My heart leapt for she was taken by this horrid disease two years ago. I can’t tell you how happy this post makes me. Many congratulations you are indeed a survivor.

  3. There are no words to express how happy I am for you! You have been thru so much and come out on the other side! You can move on in strength, with the love of your family and friends, forever changed for the better. Cancer and its treatments just suck. But we are left with much to offer others. I can just tell about you that you will be of great help to others. All the best to you! Much love from the U.S., Jeannette
