Learning the art of patience

Still 15 days until I get the final results from the hospital, but I have now surrendered to time. I can wait. It will anyhow be a long road to travel before I am fully recovered. So I can wait.

What a treat to master patience.

I feel really good today, it’s been a fantastic weekend. We have been spending time with near and dear friends. Ate the most delicious meals and drank the most exquisite wine. Good times, good times indeed.

It is still early morning. I am in a state of total peace and harmony.

I will give my body all the time she needs to heal, sweet thing. And give my mind and spirit compassion and strength.

  1. Patience-I so know what you mean!!! There is so much waiting to be done. It’s wonderful to hear that you are feeling so good this weekend and that you have spent such happy times with special people. I wanted you to know that my dad has enjoyed reading your blog too.x

    1. Thank you so much, and you must give a big kiss from me to your dad !

I am by nature a very impatient person. A doer, not a waiter. And now suddenly one day, I was blessed with this calm. What a gift. Because there is so much I cannot controll right now, only my reactions to what happens. And with patience it is soooo much easier.
